What: Urban Cowgirl is an online lifestyle and entertainment guide, written from the perspective of a globetrotting Vancouverite. Urban because I’m a bona fide city girl. Cowgirl because I grew up in a rough-neck town and I’m one of those girls who actually got a pony for her birthday.

Why: I have a lot of thoughts, passions and opinions…and I find myself utterly amusing. I may be the only one. In other words, what you’re reading is my psyche splashed across a few webpages. Tread carefully, people.

When: I began blogging in 2007, but I’d say I’ve been a storyteller my whole life. There’s also an Urban Cowgirl 1.0. It’s not as pretty as this blog, but there’s some good stuff in there. Check it.

How: I usually sit down with a rather large glass of wine and let the magic unfold…

What’s a possum? You, ofcourse. It’s an affectionate term I use for my readers, and a blatant rip off of a Dame Edna Everage shtick. It’s also a small to medium-sized furry creature native to Australia, New Guinea, and Sulawesi.
